Perfect location, comfortable accommodations, and a decent restaurant. Bikes to borrow. Tea and coffee available at all times. Teapot also in the room. 3 min walk to the beach.

Rooms, hotel overall, staff, attitude, restaurant - breakfast, dinner, launch, bookshelf, free tea and coffee 24/7, cosmetic, excibition, etc., and cappuchino and the staff!!! Rooms were better than in photos and as expected, close to the sea, sea view, nearby little shop, library, close to other beaches and villages, etc... strongly recommend! 10 out of 10!

From the very beginning, the communication with the hosts was excellent. Arriving late in the evening, we were also greeted with a complimentary tea/ coffee in the corridor, which was exceptionally well-received from our part after walking 50 km along the coastline from Ventspils. All the Covid safety rules were also met, starting with the remote access to the room key, as well as the fact that we didn't meet anyone (hosts or other guests) while our stay there. Everything was very clean, nice and comfy. Have already recommended this place to other family members.

We enjoyed our stay. The sea is close to the Pilsbergu Krogs, we spend an afternoon on the beach. It was a hot Sunday and it was lively, but if you go 200 away from the main entrance, you could feel like the sea is yours, nobody was there. We liked the food in the restaurant, too. It is no a high end kitchen, but you can feel that ingridients are of a high quality and cooked with love. Of course you can get there fries and karbonade, but we opted for some traditional dishes, which could be also interesting for latvians from other Latvia´s regions. The breakfast is ok, honestly I have expected more after the dinner, maybe something traditional, local pastries or juice. You can choose between eggs and pancakes and you get also a plate with cheese and meat. Coffee was good.

Very friendly staff, silent place near the sea, lovely garden with wooden sculptures, free bikes for guests, nice restaurant and delicious breakfast, free parking and unexpectedly beautiful paintings (non-permanent exhibition of Ilze Egle) - the hotel seemed very good. Highly recommended!
