I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco.
I loved the town. It is a chance to see the real Morocco. The people are genuinely friendly. The beach is beautiful. We had dinner in Snack El Bahri. A very nice seafood dinner for two with beverages for 15 dollars US. The town is lively and felt extremely safe. I want to return . .

Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
Super Town with a buzzing vibe.
We ate delicious lefts in the main square at the end of the souk. Pomegranate juice is my new favourite drink.
The fish market is clean and efficient with a grill restaurant above. What’s not to like?
The massive industrial plant to the south gave us some concerns in terms of pollution.

I went on a tour north along the Atlantic coast of Morocco. From Agadir in the south to Tangier in the north.
The land route was 900 km. I did not make a stopover in Rabat.
Agadir is a clean and neat city. Agadir was the most European-like city that I came to in Morocco.
If you want it to be a little more exotic, then El Jadida is an excellent place. El Jadida has all kinds of styles. The typical classic Morocco. The French colonial style. The old Portuguese medina-like style, as well as the modern Moroccan style.
Casablanca and Tangier are clean modern big cities.
I think Essaouira is a little over advertised. Essaouira has a large medina which is a tourist attraction. Safi was a paltry town not worth visiting.

We arrived at around 8 pm at the property and then had to wait nearly an hour be fore somebody arrived. The place was filty, bods were not made, the bathrooms a mess; some of the lights were not working etc. So we just left and check in the nearly hotel Ibis.

Definitely not ready for simple tourists, which sometimes can be a plus. But the entire citadel is running down, and the cisterns were closed because they collapsed. The city doesn't have the same feeling as other cities in Morocco - Azemmour, 10 minutes distance, has much more vibe.
The best place in the west of Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean for relaxing and enjoying a peaceful time after two weeks driving in the mountains around the country , we stayed four nights.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast buffet and dinner was great and fresh with many choices to choose from. The location is great near El Jadida city just 20 minute drive and an hour drive to the airport which is excellent. I didn’t use the spa but they say it’s super nice. Definitely we will come back with the kids in the summer.
My son discovered the hotel. Location room size and service was exceptional. Booked triple room and size of room was excellent. I would again book and stay at the hotel. Plenty of restaurants close by. family run laundry near by. Old town is approx. 5 minutes taxi ride AVENUE ZERKTOUNI off AVENUE MOULAY ABDELHAFID. Traditional Moroccan thobe in old market and Gold jewelries. Fresh sugar cane 6dh and pomegranate juice 10dh. Historic Fort didn't get chance to explore.
Very good location close to everything and, especially, the beach. At the same time very calm since appartment entrance was from courtyard with beatifil mosaic in the midle (on photo). Kitchen was well furnished even there were lots of small restaurants around.
Owner Rachid has been very friendly and ready to help with all small needs like car renting and taxi
The hotel was absolutely stunning! It is on a beautiful property with a clean beach and long stretches of green grass and vegetation. The pool was gorgeous and well designed. Prior to booking, I did not fully understand the vast opportunities that the hotel offered in its restaurants. I also appreciated that there was a casino in the hotel.
Abdullah is a great person. Room was big enough, clean and cozy. Kitchen is a great opportunity, most places at this price range most probably do not provide. I feel lucky, thanks to booking.com rewievers. If I need to stay at El Jadida again Villa Aboulanwar is going to be my first choice: Affordable and meets the requirements. Bon voyage.
The facility -it's beautiful. We upgraded the 2nd night and it was a completely amazing experience. The food was great, especially breakfast (best breakfast during our 9 day tour of Morocco). Slept great in the Suite Berber (ground floor) as it was spacious, luxurious and bed very comfortable. The manager was very nice and helpful.
location was fantastic. clean nice apartments we had and the reception staff were fantastic. we got excellent help from Khadija. It was our 1st time in El Jadida and she has helped us a lot in terms of information so that our stay went fantastic. Thank you very much and we will be back soon
The hostess was very pleasant and the entire property had a great family feel. My friend and I had a lovely time walking around El Jadida's strange little Portugese Quarter and exploring the city. This is a great location and the breakfast was good, too. Will definitely stay here again!
The property was well positioned in the city entry. The staff was very kind and friendly. Our room maid Kaoutar was super nice and made sure our room was clean every morning. She responded to our requests and made sure our stay was comfortable.
I would definitely go back to the hotel.
Fancy place. Has all the amenities of a Home. Owners are friendly and welcoming. Location is in a upscale neighborhood and safe. Private parking and security. Beaches and restaurants are close by. Anything you need owners are there to help. I will be back to this wonderful town.
Rooms were great. Fab location. Plenty of shower for hot water. Fantastic breakfast in lovely ground floor cafe. To top it all, Chaimie on reception was fantastic,; very helpful and extremely friendly. Ended up staying longer than anticipated as hotel was so welcoming.
- Staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful
- Room was excellent (we stayed in the tent) and it was the best nights sleep we’ve had in morocco.
- Beautiful view
Beautiful garden of hotel, well maintained exterior. Spacious room with nice balcony. Food is good and restaurant is not too expensive. Good for travelers with a car.
