The best staff anywhere in morocco! They were so kind and helpful which is so important in marrakesh since it’s a crazy city and you need help Lol. The room was small and cozy and comfortable. We had a fireplace! I loved this road and can’t recommend it enough!

The family stayed for 5 nights in 2 rooms over the Christmas period at Riad Dar Zaman. The riad is a comfortable, authentic Marrakech guest house in the Medina, an ideal location to explore the old and new town. Peter, the owner, has wonderful staff with big thanks to Hassan, Adil, Fayid and Karima. My daughter did an in house Moroccan cooking class with Karima wich was followed by a tasty lunch served on the roof terrace. Pickup and return to the airport organised by the team worked like clockwork and is recommended if you have not been to the medina before. If you are tired of staying in the soulless international hotel chains to be found in the new town and want to a more genuine Moroccan experience, riad Dar Zaman is an ideal choice. Highly recommended.

Dar Zaman is in the northern part of the medina, really close to several great restaurants, the main souks, La Maison de la Photographie, the Secret Garden and Musee de Confluence. Our breakfasts include a number of delicious vegetarian and vegan options - beetroot hummus, avocado, baked sweet potato, almond nut butter and jams.
The team who will look after you at Dar Zaman is comprised of Peter (owner), Hassan and Adil (day and night managers). We'll give you an orientation talk and a useful map when you arrive with all the sites and nearby restaurants marked on it.
Dar Zaman is located at the end of a quiet street. At the entrance to our street you can find the local baker and the hammam - we encourage you to visit both to glean a valuable insight into the medina way of life.
