A really cute place - cosy rooms and a great rooftop. The staff were really nice and helpful too.

The staff were super helpful and very friendly (good spoken English too); always trying to improve our stay. When the hammam was closed, they walked us to the one for locals and arranged for a massage. Breakfast was the best we had in Morocco and views from the roof for meals were superb.

Loved our room and the amenities. Stylish place and excellent friendly hosts. There were only 2 other guests staying so it was extremely calm and relaxed vibe. Would recommend to anyone staying in Moulay Idriss.

Comfortable bed & lovely breakfast & staff

Refreshingly cool building with a rooftop terrace with stunning views. The staff organised us a great cooking class.

There are many options available to get to know the local customs and culture such as cooking classes and hidden village tours. We took the option of travelling on donkeys to explore the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis. Unfortunately, the weather was very hot so we wanted to get there when it opened so the staff made up a wonderful picnic breakfast for us to eat at the ruins. Very helpful staff and a delicious dinner.

it’s a beautiful place, perfectly clean , and with one of the best breakfasts we had while in Morocco !! Great place - we highly recommend if visiting Moulay Idriss which is a small place

Beautiful Riad. Hajiba was extremely kind, waiting up for our extremely late arrival and making us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Ideal stopover for visiting the ruins at Volubilis.

Very varm welcome, delicious breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view of the ancient city of Volubilis.

Great place! Very comfortable, right in the center of town with delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

I have a booking starting 25 Apr. Can you suggest a from of transport from Meknes to your hotel Thank you R SmithFrom Meknes you have a few options for either a private transfer, or using public transport (grand taxi or bus). The grand taxi leaves from Institute Francais in Meknes and this brings you into the grand taxi station in Moulay Idriss and from there, it is a short walk to Dar Zerhoune. If you have luggage then we suggest you use a donkey. A private transfer takes around 30 minutes and brings you directly to Dar Zerhoune. RoseAnswered on March 10, 2020

Thank you for your answer. Could you please tell me approx cost for both and what you would personally recommend. Thank you R SmithThe grand taxi is 10dh a place, max. 6 places, plus your petit taxi to the grand taxi station. The private transfer is 150dh and takes you from exactly where you arrive to Dar Zerhoune. My personal preference depends each time. If I have alot of luggage, little time, and want to be picked up and dropped off then I take the private transfer. If I have relaxed time and no luggage then I take the grand taxi. And from the grand taxi station I walk to Dar Zerhoune. Every body travels differently, so I cannot make a recommendation based only on my personal experience.Answered on March 11, 2020

Do you have room on ground floor (2 adults one kid 15 yrs old) ? No stairs ? My mother can’t take the stairs. Parking not far ? ThxMoulay Idriss is a pedestrianised town with steps. It is 5 minutes walk from the parking. Yes, we do have a ground floor room at Dar Zerhoune, but there are steps down to our front door and then to the ground floor. So it may not be suitable.Answered on July 4, 2022
