Our family of four stayed at Gîte d'étape traditionnel berbère one night between two long days of driving. Everything about the Gite is as advertised and met our expectations.

the house is wonderful, furnished with traditional berbers pieces. the location is very convenient, on the way to merzouga and the desert. the place was extremely clean and the family very welcoming and kind. when we arrived they offered us tea and cake and we had the chance to stay a bit with the family, to see how the live. myriam cooked a traditional tajine for us which was delicious. we really liked it, and we will surely come back if we visit morocco a second time.

It is really fantastic to experience a life in a traditional Berbere house. The hosts, two brothers, were very opened and warm. They let us meet also their family and see home. Tagini was delicious. We have a nice evening with a berberic drums. We sleep very well in a peaceful enviroment. We very much recommend this place to visit and stay. It is a place you must stop on the way to sahara.

Very lovely traditional place in Ifri! Hamid, the owner was very welcoming, the room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the food was delicious! We would definetly come back here especially since Hamid told us he organizes tours into the desert, so if you have more time than we had, you should definetly go for it! :)

Casa tradicional bereber al lado de la carretera N13. Es simple y sencillo, pero limpio y con todo lo indispensable. El anfitrión es muy amable y te explicará un montón de datos de la zona y la vida aquí. También organiza visitas y actividades por la zona si estáis interesados, incluso si vais hasta Merzouga. Nosotros le pedimos con antelación si habría posibilidad de cena y nos la prepararon a nuestra llegada. Cocina tradicional de Marruecos, muy bueno todo. 100% recomendable.

De locatie is werkelijk prachtig. Klein dorpje, prachtige omgeving. Hoessein is een gezellige vrolijke kerel die je een warm welkom geeft. Wij hadden helaas maar 1 nacht. Maar je kunt hier prachtig wandelen.

Mostafa fue el mejor anfitrion que hemos tenido nunca. Su trato no pudo ser mejor, con nosotros y sobre todo con los niños. Nos esperaron para cenar, la cena simplemente deliciosa y muy muy abundante, estuvieron tocando instrumentos típicos beréberes, nos ofrecieron todo tipo de excursiones para pasar tiempo con los nómadas… Incluso como les comentamos que era el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo, nos propusieron que paráramos a la vuelta hacia fez y que le preparaban una fiesta, fue una pena no poder hacerlo. De verdad, si puedes, para aquí, si puedes quédate más días y haz excursiones con Mostafa y su familia… no te arrepentirás
