The staff is what makes Dar Terrae a great place. It is a little and nice Moroccan house but it's not what really makes this hotel a great place to stay. The workers at the hotel do, they are so kind and are always willing to help. My couple had health issues and they made themselves available to make our stay a bit better.

Picturesque town with lots of photo opportunities and hiking directly out of town. Smallish, but fun Medina which is full of steps and alleys you can get lost in, but easy to get out of as well. A bit touristy but souks are not pushy at all.

Scenic, but lots of tourists (including us!) most handicrafts for sale did not appear to be of high quality; however, some rugs looked quite nice but I didn’t have the capacity (room) to consider purchasing any.

If you go in the winter then its just another rainy town.
Lots off ferrel dogs about pulling bins over in search of food and leaving the place less than desirable. Of which the locals were happy about.
So my advice do not go in winter

The colors of the city , the houses are beautiful. the shopping is great and nobody harasses you. Love the mountains and all the good restaurants. There is a Chinese restaurant there, la petite chengdu, that was really good. Walking up and down many steps is a must, if you visit and not avoidable, if you want to see the town.

Chefchaouen was a wonderful city to explore and it was beautiful! It is an easy space to wander around and explore the hidden nooks. We highly recommend getting a Moroccan Hammam and using it as a base for hiking in the Rif mountains.

Chefchaouen is a small town with its beautiful Medina , the scenery was just marvelous ,all green and colorful.A lot of possibilities for hiking or just walking. Went to Akchour water fall a must. All in all I enjoyed so much I’m planning to come back .For someone who likes walking it’s not a problem to get around.
This hotel is something that made my trip to Morocco beautiful and what left a great impression! The room was big and bright, with big beautiful bed, the location is very centred and easy to find, the breakfast is delicious and the stuff is super friendly, especially, the receptionist guy Hamza, who made my stay in Chefchaouen really nice! He was so kind to advise me on the best locations and even showed me around. I recommend it to everyone and I definitely will be back.
Just a completely beautiful stay. The upstairs terrace-absolutely showstopping! And that was before you looked at the views!! The entire hotel was spotless with beautiful decor throughout. Breakfast was delicious, bountiful and beautiful-the best I had while I was in Morocco, I think. Everything was "the best" really, but it was the young man at the front desk, and I'm so sorry I missed getting his name, that makes me just want to smile and go back immediately!
Hotel sakura it a really good place to stay while in the blue city .
I’m so glad that I booked this place , Charaf the owner really took a good care of us and made sure to gives as all the info about the city and recommended us to beautiful sights in Chefchaouen and Morocco .

It was fantastic experience.
Will highly recommend the place . ✌️
Amazing! Staff go above and beyond! The perfect mix of traditional and modern. Great vibes from the interior design, definitely a Boho picture perfect hotel!
Also, the breakfast is gorgeous! And I have to admit, the moroccan Tea that accompanied the breakfast was the best we’d tasted in morocco.
Super happy with this place.
P.s, highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise on the roof balcony they offer! Breath taking ☺️
Ahmed and Assia at the front desk are extraordinary hosts and quite knowledgeable about Chefchaouen and Morocco. They alternate between Arabic, French, and English with ease. The other staff are attentive and efficient and work with smiles. Breakfast was excellent and is sometimes accompanied by the boss singing. I recommend this hotel without qualification.
Very friendly staff, and a new hotel that ticks all the boxes. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and wifi was excellent. Breakfast was the best we've had in Morocco (coffee was excellent) and the hotel certainly represents good value for money. Definitely a very solid option in this beautiful town!
Amazing blue hotel in the blue town with a wonderful interior garden.
The room was nicely decorated, it had a key to lock the door and AC.
The shower was separated from the rest of the bathroom (not often the case in Morocco).
Staff was welcoming and breakfast was abundant and diverse.
Bed was amazingly pretty as it is on the picture. The owner was so kind that he recommended us the good restaurants and told us to see the sunset from the mosque.
Shower room was also amazingly pretty and nice.
Welcoming sweets and mint tea treated us once we arrived the hotel
Staff were very friendly, helped us to deliver our luggage from the parking area (that blocked by road work) to the hotel.
The breakfast were huge and delicious. Room was huge and clean.
Hotel is just minutes walk from the site seeing points and the medina.
An undoubtedly wonderful place if you want to spend a few days in this charming town. The staff that runs the hotel makes you feel at home...and that is such an important added value in life. The hotel is beautiful... delighted with everything.
Amazing cute little hotel. All blue with beautiful rooms and terrace. The breakfast and views are fantastic. Hosts are so kind and welcoming. Will be back when im in Chaouen. Signs leading to the hotel are very useful
Very nice double room with a large bed. Breakfast (buffet style) was exceptionally good, the best we had in Morocco. Great value for price! Parking in the private yard was available for 5€/day. Very friendly owners!
The hotel is amazing and ismail is the most amazing person what we meat here in morocco!
He will suport you with everything.
The hotel has a very good location in the old city and its very calm.
