My brother and I stayed with Mustafa on our way to the Sahara. It was a perfect place for your venture out to the desert. We arrived very late and Mustafa even offered to cook us dinner. Breakfast was wonderful, the Riad was beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfortable. We didn’t take the same route back, but if we had I would have absolutely stopped here again.

Absolutely beautiful place, clean, large rooms for familles and friends and very comfortable. Staff is very welcoming and nice. They are always there when you need them. Lovely common area inside the house with a large gardin, incredibly peaceful, cosy, and invites you to relax. We also had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. My only regret is that we spent just one night!

We stayed 2 nights in a suite (double bed and a single bed). We really enjoyed our stay - the food is great, the Riad is homely and the staff are lovely. Mustpaha and Ibrihim really took care of us and were so genuinely friendly. It is about 14kms from the nearest big town and about 40 minutes from the Dades Gorge and Todra Gorge. It is not fancy, but fabulous and authentic and we really recommend.

What a surprise to go from the dry, dusty street and into a cool, beautiful, oasis-like courtyard of Riad Dades Birds with trees and shade, giving a welcome shelter from the sun. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful, it was great to chat and learn more about the area and the culture. Too bad we only had one night in this paradise, and as birdwatchers we liked the rooftop terrace and the courtyard full of birds. I can not wait to return to spend longer at this wonderful place, especially as this is run by someone who truly represents real Moroccan hospitality with pride and humility.

Riad Dades Birds, is a guest house located in the ♥️ of Dades Valley near the town of Boumalne Dades. It take six hours of driving from Marrakesh city toward the sahara deserts of Merzouga and just three hours of driving from Merzouga deserts toward Marrakesh. It is an ideal place to visit the Dades Gorges for hikking, visit the Roses and Dades valleys and also perfect place for birdwatching in Tagdilt track and around, this is without doubt one of the top areas for birdwatching in the Southern of Morocco for seeing Larks, Wheatears, Sandgrouses, Coursers and the Pharaoh eagle Owl.
