everything about the Riad was beautiful, the staff was incredible and Julien, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. the rooftop also has one of the best views in the city! a must for sunset

Riad Matham was clean and comfortable. It met our expectations in every regard. The breakfasts were copious and delicious. The owner was away but we were well cared for by Isham (sp?) and his staff. He met our group of eight at the parking and ensured that our luggage arrived at the Riad, both on arrival and departure. He was always available at the Riad and responded immediately to our every request. He was very helpful with directions and help us set up Map.me on our mobile phones. In short, he was a true professional who made our stay at the Riad a most pleasant experience.

Hicham was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable.

Our stay at Riad Matham was amazing. We got lost on our way to check in, but the riad manager, Julien, kindly picked us up from a nearby museum. From there, Julien welcomed us into the riad with a kind offer of mint tea and gave us a great layout of the area with landmarks so that we could navigate to the square/medina and back to the riad very easily. The riad is an easy 10 minute walk from the main square. Julien also chatted with us each morning and answered all the questions we had about navigating the city. The riad is gorgeous, well-appointed, and has a lovely terrace with many seating options- it looks exactly like the photos. The staff was very hospitable and there to help us with anything we asked. The breakfast each morning was tasty with a beautiful view of the courtyard. We would highly recommend this riad and its excellent staff!

Such a beautiful place and Julien and the rest of the staff make it so welcoming and homey! It's so well taken care of, and an easy walk into the souks/spice market. It's my 3rd time staying there and it's always such a treat. I'll definitely be back again! :)

The riad is very nice and beautiful from the inside. It also has a high rooftop where you can look over the medina. It is very good located, near the souks and Jemma el Fnaa

The atmosphere was traditional and relaxing. The manager, Julien was very helpful. Hashim was an exceptional host. He stayed up with us past midnight sharing local knowledge of the rich cultural heritage of his amazing country of Morocco. The Riad has a super cool roof top terrace. I could have just spent the night up there under the stars over Marrakech but our suite was too incredible to let go to waste.

Julien was helpful, charming, and down to earth. The riad is classically cool, with artistic references to the colonial past and rustic architectural appointments. Birds fly in and out of the central courtyard, which is home to a couple of pleasantly calm tortoises.

What a great introduction to the Marrakech riad system! From the moment we checked in, we were treated like family. Hicham, in particular, was incredible; he spent 30+ minutes with us at check-in ensuring we were familiar with the medina maps. The owner, Julien, was equally kind, as were the staff members we encountered throughout our days there. The riad itself is beautifully-decorated and kept very clean. Breakfast was wholesome with a little variety every day. We especially loved the fruit! The best part of the riad is the location: it's right by everything you'd want to visit, and the rooftop views are some of the highest in the old city. We'd love to come back!

The property was beautiful - a serene courtyard and our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful orienting us to the medina area. It is a quiet area, but just a 3 minute walk and you are right in the middle of the busy market area. There is a lovely rooftop too. This is a great value for what you can get in Marrakech. We stayed at other places of similar price and were disappointed. I wish we could have stayed longer.
