“Upon my arrival, I am greeted promptly by Milan, the jovial, convivial host and Ambassador of Old Town Hostel Kotor. I had spent the day travelling and my weary bones certainly appreciated the complimentary upgrade Milan offers me, giving me the space I desired to spread out and reorganise my things. Further, Milan's knowledge of Old Town Kotor and it's surrounds is vast and diverse. He often helps organise meetups, and ways for guests to connect. The reception area is open and has a funky art vibe. There are always people sitting around chatting in a typical "hostel-ly" manner. Cleanliness of the shared areas and all rooms is top-notch, which I find is uncommon in hostels and genuinely welcomed. While there is a definite high season here (book ahead between April-September), the casual-and-cared-after vibe of staff members permeates this place year-round. “It’s good that they let us stay there with kids as it’s strictly prohibited. The location is good, 8 mins walk from the bus station. Cheaper amongst the acommodation.
