This Sofitel is located near the "Inner Harbor" in Macau. It is the only 5-star hotel in that part of the city, and we loved the location. In the mornings, we just walked from the hotel and strolled around the narrow streets of the old town. IMHO that was a huge improvement over the tacky new parts of Macau. Our room was very comfortable indeed -- the bed was superb and all the finishings were great, too. The hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Dawn made our anniversary extraordinary by surprising us with the room decor and an upgrade to the best Riverview which make us feel really special. Melody in the front desk was cheerful and her smile is very genuine. The breakfast food was delicious! In Mistral we met James, I would like to commend him for giving us great service and making sure that we are having a good dining experience. We actually booked for a night only since it's our first time to try the Hotel. However we decided to stay for another night because of the amazing people in this hotel. :)

The staffs are very accomodating and they make you always feel welcome. Always attending to your needs. It was raining so hard when we checked out and we couldn’t find any taxi yet they never made us feel uncomfortable and let us ride company car with a friendly driver at no extra charge. The place is so clean and great, with a perfect of the border river and old City of Macau. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone.

I received the best services that I've ever had from your concierges, i.e. Simon, Alex, Fred and Leo who are very friendly and helpful to provide me the information I need. While waiting for the texis, they provided me a bottle of water and keep me informed about when the taxi would arrive. Fred gave me a very clear instruction of where to eat and shop.
