The Castella district has much to offer and the views all around the island are excellent. Both hotels we stayed at were lovely. One can get to all the main beaches and attractions on public transport. We found the busses to be on time and nicely air conditioned and one gets to places quickly.

Such a beautiful town with plenty of places to eat. The Citadella is a must to visit. The views from up there are breathtaking and it's steeped in history. You can spend a whole day at this one location.

A smallish town with great churches and a Cittadella.
The centre has many narrow streets and quite a few Italian restaurants.
Alternate restaurants are hard to find. Don't bother looking for beer other than the lager type.

I have been to Gozo a few times before but the reason for the visit was to go to the opera house to see Verdi's Aida. Victoria has a lot of things to see and the island of Gozo is interesting with many things to see and also wonderful beaches and history

Victoria is the center of Gozo, all bus lines come here. Busses are on time, most of times. But some are only one per an hour. If I come back, I definitely will rent a car (I am not sure the parking situation of Victoria, though).

Victoria is a beautiful city an amazing capital of Gozo.
Victoria is a beautiful city an amazing capital of Gozo. The people are so lovely and welcoming. There are many things to do and see and the history churches and squares are fantastic. Victoria is perfect location for exploring the whole of Gozo.
Everything!!! The hotel is across the street from the bus station and walking distance to the Citadel, so the location is great!! You can catch a bus to any and every part of the island, just steps away from the hotel. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are designed with great lighting, efficiency and usefulness. The staff is superb and the restaurants are terrific! I would definitely stay there again. Great communication with hotel prior to and during our stay.
Isabelle and Patrice are very kind and heart warming persons. The hotel is beautifully furnished and very clean. Perfect location, close to the old Citadelle. Beautiful view from the roof top, where you can enjoy your yummy local breakfast, that changes every day a little bit. We enjoyed our stay a lot! 5 Stars from 5! We would even give more if we could. Thank you Isabelle and Patrice, we had a wonderful time and will come back!! Anne and Pascal
Great location, very central to the Citadelle of Victoria and lovely cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff super friendly and helpful. And considering this was our first stay in a hotel since the pandemic, the hotel was excellent in making sure they followed Covid protocols. They made us feel safe and comfortable. We really enjoyed our little break at the Duke. We will return for sure.
The apartment is large with stylish decor and modern amenities. The location is excellent for walking to the attractions and services in Victoria. The host, Josephine, kept in contact before and throughout the stay. There were lovely touches that felt like home such as coffee supplies, cleaning products and planters on the balcony. This is a lovely stay in a delightful community at excellent value.
It was absolutely an impeccably presented room. The hosts were very welcoming and professional. It was a little oasis. I found Victoria a little more “town” than I’d expected, but loved the hotel and my beautiful room. So much so I “dined” in and watched tv in bed after spending some hours experiencing the Citadel (practically on the doorstep!) till sunset.
Lorenzo, the host, was absolutely first class. Always a text away if we needed anything. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was lovely. Spacious room, typically Maltese. Ours had the Maltese balcony giving onto a quiet street just a few metres from the center, Victoria. Will definitely be using this delightful bed and breakfast for our future Gozo visits.
Excellent location in the middle of Victoria, in a traditional building in a charming and quiet old side road in easy reach of bus station, cafes, restaurants, shops and citadel. Very welcoming and friendly host. Delicious fresh fruit as part of breakfast spread (served in room, which I liked). Sizable room with comfortable armchair.
The owner of the place greeted us on arrival. Gave us a great intro to the place and area. He proceeded to give us a menu for the following day's breakfast which was served in the room. Much to our surprise the order was perfect and delivered with precise accuracy. A great experience overall which far exceeds some 5 star hotels.
Communication with landlord was smooth and fast.
Instructions for self check-in were clear and simple to follow.
Our room and private bathroom were clean and tidy.
Location is perfect, close to Citadella and center of Victoria.
Pool is somewhat smaller than it appears on photos, but it provided relaxing experience.
The hotel is in a decent, central location in Victoria. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The property is on a busy square, but the double glazing keeps the noise out. The breakfast was acceptable and the staff serving it very friendly.
Apartment is located in very good location, to be exact in the center of Victoria. There are bus stop, restaurants and coffees all around. Apartment well organized, has everything needed for short stay, very cozy. Owner very polite and helpful.
Very gorgeous little hotel, really beautifully designed! Room and other facilities very clean. Host (Matthew) extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of Victoria. Thank you the nice stay!!!
Great people, Roberto was absolutely perfect, he handled everything promptly. Excellent and varied breakfast, cozy and comfortable accommodation in the center of Victoria, nothing to complain about and I can only recommend it.
The hotel was located in the city center and was easy accessible by bus or on food. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The bed was amazing. I had a very good night rest.
I really got good value for my money.
Gorgeous villa, well located just outside Victoria, plenty of space and lots of character. Comfortable beds, beautiful views.
We appreciated the thorough welcome binder full of tips!
the style, location and most of all the food. The food at the bistro that is part of the hotel is divine. I also liked that breakfast is a lá Carte, very fresh with no waste concept.
The location is very good, it’s in the center of victoria, you also have a bus stop in front of the building. The apartment is big, and it’s well equiped.
Even though it is a small hotel, it has everything one can wish for. The staff is amazing and the hotel was super clean. Everything is so well organised!
