145, St Dominic Street, VLT 1605 瓦莱塔, 马耳他 –
We are Casa Rooms, a young and enthusiastic and professional team, managing the property. We are just a call away and would be happy to assist you before or during your stay.
Experience an authentic two-bedroom Valletta townhouse, near the City's key attractions. This is a charming Valletta town house which is about a century old. You enter through a private entrance and can proceed upstairs to the two bedrooms (each with two single beds you can join together), or access on entry level the kitchen/living area on the ground floor. Wifi and flat screen TV available. Feel free to use anything available in the house - from the kettle to the ukelele! In the kitchen there's a cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, table with chairs and sofa-bed. The bedrooms are interconnecting, as can be seen in the photos and architectural plan. There's also a balcony if you want to smoke. We're constantly making small (or big!) improvements to the house. There's also a balcony if you want to smoke. Please note Valletta is surrounded by water, so the house can be humid at times and thus not ideal for people with asthma or sensitivity to humidity!
The neighbourhood is safe, friendly and very central. It is located within the bastion walls of Valletta, in the heart of the city. Just a few minutes walk to many sights, including St John's co-Cathedral and Caravaggio's paintings, one of the centrepieces of our UNESCO World Heritage city. There are plenty of places to eat or explore in the neighbourhood - small gardens, the seafront, local groceries, Malta's prime shopping outlets and some of the best eateries in Malta - all literally footsteps away! Next door to the property there is Ta Nenu, the immensely popular Maltese artisan baker, kindly note that their can be some noise from persons departing the establishment at night. IMPORTANT! The last weekend of July or first weekend of August, there will be the feast of St Dominic being celebrated in the property's vicinity. Kindly note that the celebrations tend to get quite loud. This will mean not only church activities, but occasional street parties and general merriment. Feasts are common throughout Malta, particularly in summer, with a different one every weekend. I just thought I would let you know - it is quite an experience.
