The resort is located in the best area of Playa del Carmen and of all playacar! The entertainment team: Edgar, Diego, Jonathan, Arely, Manuel, Rene made our stay in Allegro unforgettable! Nice beach hotel with beautiful gardens and top location. Staff are always kind and helpful. Pools are nice. The beach is great. Food and drink is average. Rooms are good, however they can improve the maintenance of bathrooms as walls have humidity spots here and there. We had coffee machine with coffee making facilities every day, which we specifically appreciated. We also loved the table tennis.

Smaller vacationing community with cute bungalows and nice paths between them and the main interest areas (beach, bars, restaurant). Good beach with lots of playground (volleyball court, soccer, other games). Excellent service at the main bar above the lobby. Steps away from a mini-mall/shopping center. Half hour stroll to Playa Del Carmen streets and noise :) Good check in/out experiences (thanks Luis for the little string-man you made for us when we checked out with you). Last but not least, the anti-Covid measures and discipline are 10/10 IMO. For the ones needing the PCR test before coming back to Canada, the price is 1800 pesos pp, same as in Playa Del Carmen. That saves you a trip...

We really enjoyed our stay in Allegro Playacar. Location is perfect - right by the beautiful beach. Food was good - quite tasty and fresh with wide range of options to choose. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Delicious drinks in the bar :) Rooms were quite spacious and comfortable - nothing to complain about. I can definitely recommend this hotel while staying in Playacar.

The Allegro Playacar All Inclusive Resort, 1.9 miles from Playa del Carmen, offers a private beach area with water sports facilities. There are 3 outdoor pools, tennis courts and a spa.

Set in Polynesian-style bungalows, rooms come with a balcony or terrace. Each has air conditioning and a fan. There is a seating area with satellite TV, a minibar and coffee maker.

The complex offers 4 restaurants, 4 bars and 1 disco with a bar. The Buffet Bar offers international cuisine. There is a snack bar and grill, a Mexican and Italian restaurant. Bars include a cocktail bar and poolside bar.

Apart from food and drink, a range of supervised activities are included free. These include a kids’ club, a range of sporting activities and classes such as diving, kayaking and a Catamaran. Night time entertainment is also provided.
