Indonesiaabsolutely loved the Balam campground in Holbox. so beautiful with the crafty natural furniture, hammocks, and the kitchen palapa felt so nice to be cooking under. the hosts are so so sweet and welcoming, and very welcoming to our small dog Huma as well.

NetherlandsVery warm welcome by the staff- Maxi . He took the time to show us restaurants, bars and attractions on a map and give us a little tour of the grounds. He helped book a whale shark tour and call us golf cart taxis. We stayed in the hut and it was really cute.

MexicoThe staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. They offered many information and recommandations on the island and a super tasty and home made breakfast for only 60 pesos. The bathrooms and showers are situated in small huts. It was a wonderful camping experience. If you like outdoorsy stuff, I would highly recommend the eco Camping balam.

The staff was friendly and super helpful when we arrived, giving us a tour of the property and a map of the town with lots of recommendations of what to check out and where to eat! The tents were cleaned and well set up (and free of bugs) when we arrived! And the facilities are excellent for a campsite. The Chill zone, especially, was my favourite part!
CanadaI loved how quiet it is here! I found it to be the only place kind of in the middle of nowhere in Holbox. Everyone there is respectful of the quiet nature that most of us booking here are seeking. It was one of the few places in my journey in Mexico that I could sleep good. You wake up to birds and the sun shining in your tent. If you love nature and relaxing book here. Also the staff are so sweet and chill and fun to just sit with and hang out
