“We did have a great time at the Barselo Colonial. The property is enormous and you have to walk a lot but for us it was positive as my kids love that they have so many activities. The property was clean and well maintained. The resort was full but we did not feel it (only at the breakfast). The beach was very long and pretty big. There are a lot of additional activities that you have to pay money to do. Food was good, however, we were not impressed with the ala carte restaurants.”

“Overall it’s a much lovelier place than overcrowded hotels in the Hotel Zone. It’s good value for money if booked with some discounts. It’s generally very clean. The pools are very large and pleasant ! The food was prepared with some good care and a good hygienic level The staff in the restaurants, gardens and the pools were incredibly professional and friendly. Buffet food was good. They did a good job of providing a variety of choices. A selection of restaurants for dinner was thoughtful for those who stayed longer. We liked the seafood and the Spanish restaurants most! The Italian restaurant was good with their service and the beef dish. It’s much better than the meals we had in the overpriced hotel zone.”
