Incredibly beautiful, clean, comfortable room. The property was exceptional with the gardens, quality of food, friendly staff that worked there (Alex was great, and everyone else we saw). The cleaners have the best towel art i've ever seen. They really go above and beyond to make the property really special and unique. There is also so much life in the forest, it's amazing to see. If you're there between 16:30 and 18:00, go hang at the pool at the back. This is the time when all the birds (there are so many) come down and have a bath in the pool water. It's amazing. We saw 10 birds at a time playing in the water.

Everything. It’s in the middle of the jungle, in between Tulum and Playa del Carmen in a little tiny town called Chemuyil. it is away from the typical crowds of the resorts, but with all the amenities needed to enjoy our stay. We were close to Tulum and closer to Chichen-Itzá than if we stayed in playa del Carmen which was a 40 minute drive from our hotel. The staff especially Edson, the property manager made us feel welcome and at home away from home. Mario, the chef prepared superb meals and the rest of the staff was incredibly courteous. I recommend you rent a car to get around and there are no tv’s, but it’s on purpose, so you can relax and escape from your daily routine. I highly recommend the Jungle Lodge if you’re looking to relax and escape for a few days. We loved it.

Architecturally fun in a beautiful garden setting. Nice amenities, yet small and uncrowded. Food was good; staff and service was top notch all around. We had various excursions planned from Playa to Tulum, and were looking for a quiet, central base camp. This was that and more. We wished we had more time to just enjoy the property.

I loved the spacious rooms, and the decor was outstanding. The property staff makes you feel like you're on vacation with friends. They were always present and very accommodating. The property is luxurious yet budget-friendly. It rained while we were there, and the power went out several times, but they were able to get a generator. Don't forget to bring some bug spray and a small flashlight; this is really in the jungle, and it gets very dark at night. I can't wait to come back for a week.
