Bungalows Paraíso Bucerías, hotel in Bucerías

Located a 6-minute walk from Bucerias Bay, Bungalows Paraíso Bucerías offers 3-star accommodations in Bucerías and has free bikes, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

Lovely villa with everything we needed. It is a charming older property, but updated, kept up well and very clean. It's what we love most about Bucerias — classic property, cute pool and outdoor garden kitchen, AC in the bedroom, close walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, and most of all, a fantastic host in Paola. She made sure we had what we needed and helped escort a forgotten suitcase when we left for the airport without it. Suites are best suited for families with a main bedroom and a walkthrough room with two smaller beds. Worked perfect for us.

Hostal Bucerias, hotel in Bucerías

Set in Bucerias in the Nayarit Region, 19 mi from Rincon de Guayabitos, HOSTAL BUCERIAS features terrace. Free private parking is available on site.

This was my second stay and I noted several changes after two years. The most important was a number of different dorm rooms having been added so I was in a less crowded room and on the top floor - which was nice especially for the balcony view facing the ocean. Initially there was ample hot water, but then it was harder to come by when more people arrived (or started using more water?). It's a lot quieter in the evenings as the bar in back has changed to a restaurant and bar and doesn't have live music too late. The kitchen has plenty of cooking/serving ware and there's lots of fridge space - as well as a microwave. Clean/Filtered water is also provided, which is a bonus. Friendly and helpful staff - and generally very clean. Good wifi. Lockers provided in the hallways, but bring your own padlock. No other international travelers this time around. This might have to do with the time of year, but there were a lot during my prior stay. Would definitely recommend as an economical stay with an extremely convenient location for Bucerias or hopping on a bus for a day trip.

Bucerias is a little town that is easy to get around by foot. It’s not crowded or noisy, but has lots of restaurants and lots to do if you want to do it. Unfortunately condos are creeping in and I don’t know how long it can stay the way it is now. The people are friendly, both the natives and the many Canadians who have moved there. We didn’t eat anywhere that wasn’t good. Ask around or just try places. Wear sturdy shoes for the cobblestone streets. The curbs are deep so you get a workout just walking. I don’t think I would ever stay in PV again. I love Bucerias and that area.

Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property.

Nereidas Lofts is a nice, clean, modern property. One block to the beach and the access is on the same street. The restaurant on the ground floor is really good for breakfast and lunch but closes at 2 pm. Across the street to the south is Jorges restaurant. Very good basic Mexican dishes with awesome smoothies. More of a working persons' place with great service and a very friendly atmosphere.

The beach is beautiful and clean. Easy to walk to the beach. Cute shops in the market. Nice restaurants on the beach. Lots of older American and Canadian tourists. We always ate a a street side seafood restaurant with ice cream next door. Easy to buy snacks at Oxxo.

I LOVE being in Bucerias - this was my third trip staying there. The only negative is that there are also a lot of other people who love Bucerias - there is a massive amount of condo building going on. Hopefully, it will not take over and ruin the local businesses that really add to the flavor of the city. I am very comfortable there. It is large enough to have all the amenities that I want but small enough to be able to walk around and not feel crowded-in like being in a larger city. At no time did I feel unsafe - of course I wasn't walking around at 2 in the morning, either, and stuck with areas with which I was already pretty familiar. The restaurants there are amazing - El Brujo, Sandrina's, La Comalita, Cafe las Flores, Le Postal, Le Bistrot, Mr. Santana's - and the list goes on and on. I have a list of at least another half dozen that I want to try. I didn't have a single bad meal or dining experience the whole time there.

Beach and the place we stayed in were great but town busy with tourists. Restaurants good but very crowded in January. Have to make reservations in the most popular ones. Karens place on the beach is good for a sunset experience.

the price of buying groceries was much higher than anticipated, cost of eating out getting very expensive. prices of taxis is seriously on the rise. good people that try and make you happy. locals are moving out to return inland as they find it near impossible to pay cost of living in tourist areas, locals say that tourism is going to suffer badly due to cost increases.even a local doctor told me this area is getting to expensive for local people. old town area of puerto vallarta is suffering in many ways tourism is down , not as otherwise stated. i wouldn't,t go back to where i stayed , nor would anyone else we talked to in 12 days. that pretty much sums it up. not going to sugar coat the truth.

A very new building and an uncluttered, modern aesthetic make this a fine choice to stay in Bucerias. Everything was brand new, and good quality. One block off the beach, our third-floor room (#6) had a view of the ocean from our balcony. Great location close to many of the best restaurants in town. We enjoyed a very comfortable king-size bed. A large, ground-level pool was big enough for swimming laps, and had just enough greenery in the area to soften the setting and make it inviting. Nice quality toiletries in that bathroom.

Everything about my stay was exceedingly pleasant. From check in (Alondra couldn't be more cheerful and attentive!), to relaxing by the pool midday, along with food recommendations, this place has it all! I also thoroughly enjoyed being in a quieter part of Bucerias, yet still close to affordable restaurants, spas, etc. You can also be adventurous and saunter a few blocks to the highway, catch a bus for $1 towards La Lancha or Punta Burros for a surf!

There wasn't anything not to like - If I could rate this a 12, I would. The entire staff were the best I have ever experienced in all my travels. Welcoming, hospitable and eager to provide you with an unbelievable stay. They catered to all you needs. I would highly recommend Hotel Ysuri to anyone who wants a truly enjoyable experience. If Bucerias is the oyster, then Ysuri is the "Pearl " !!! I will be back to stay again.

Old-school condo "casa" oozing with charm and personality. Owner Ivan and staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to help us with laundry and getting some groceries. Location is excellent, right on the beach about a mile from the Centro in Bucerias...a pleasurable walk on the beach. Watch the oyster divers from the front porch that overlooks the sea. Fantastic sunrises!

This hotel is conveniently located near the beach, bars, coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were helpful, although most spoke little to no English. The translator app was very helpful. Rooms were secure and cleaned daily with fresh towels and toilet paper. Great air conditioner. Very inexpensive and very good value for the price!

What a hidden gem, truly a wonderful place to stay! The best thing about this place is the staff, the building facilities and access to all the pools, the free golf carts/bicycles and the discount at the cafe (food was amazing). We stayed 5 nights and have already booked our next stay with them, we loved it that much. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!

We were booking close to last minute for our stay in Bucerias and wanted to be on the beach. Coritas had availability so we booked it. Our room was ok on the ground level and adjacent to the deck area overlooking the ocean. There were lounge chairs on the beach with palapas so that was good as well. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating
