This is a motel that has been remodeled well to be ‘boutique’ in the heart of the hotel district. The little pool was pleasant and the finishes modern. Both upstairs and downstairs rooms have west balconies that were nice to sit on. It is across the street and an access walkway from a beautiful, extensive non swimming beach. They had a water machine to fill your water bottles and refrigerators in the rooms. The next door restaurant was good and had a good modern decor. We like the more laidback feel of San Jose del Cabo. You are about 1/2 mile from a estuary reserve and 2 miles from downtown. They have a Thursday night art walk in the town square for most of the fall-spring season.

The room and the hotel appear well made, very nicely appointed and modern and very clean fixtures: lights,bathroom, etc. The rooms have balconies with views of the neighboring gold course. There are a couple of chairs and a table. A nice pool is available and you just walk across the street to get to the beach. The staff is great, helpful, friendly and professional.

624 is a wonderful boutique hotel. We love to travel this way but totally unexpected in Mexico. It's across the street from the beach and walking distance to the Art District. A short 20 minutes to Cabo but we now enjoy the clean, friendly and laid-back feel of San Jose. It's also right next to Saint Pulpo which is a progressive and delicious seafood restaurant that offers delicious breakfast and lunch in addition to a sophisticated dinner menu. The staff is wonderful and the back patio overlooks a golf course. Fabulous!!!

Great value for all that you get! No breakfast on site but our room had a little back patio that was very nice with a view of the golf course. Our door opened right to the pool and it was perfect to lounge around and do some reading. The main desk has beach towels and umbrellas that they lend out which made it easy to head to the beach across the street. There's a lot of food options right next to the hotel but we mostly Ubered to downtown San Jose del Cabo for meals. The front desk was really helpful whenever we had questions and let us use the phone when we were calling tour companies.
