Location was great! Holbox is pretty small but you could easily get to the center of it in 5-10 min walk. The staff were wonderful, from the front desk to the staff leading the daily activities. They have activities everyday which were a great way to meet new people.

CanadaWe traveled as a family and enjoyed the property. This made it easy for us to teach our teens how to travel on a budget and what has hostel living is all about. Excellent staff, activities, bar, and convenient to the beach and center of town.
United States of AmericaThe stuff and location 10 points! The hostel offers a lot of activities, like salsa class, each morning yoda, Kim is great! If you decide to stay in this hostel you must to join the yoda class. The have happy hours and great food. Only thing what I was very unhappy with is the accommodation in yellow building. My room did not have AC, but that wasn't the issue! The issue was therein no glass in windows and you feel like you are coming in the middle of the restaurant! You hear everything it's impossible to sleep. If you book your place make sure is not the yellow building! I don't know how they use the building as accommodation and changed for it. I highly recommend to stay in this hostel in red building only!

The modern Tribu Hostel offers shared dormitories and private rooms, with bright décor and mosquito nets. Bed linen is included and towels can be rented.
The Tribu has a communal kitchen and BBQ facilities. You can enjoy kite surfing lessons, movie nights and jam sessions in the bar. Staff can also provide maps and information about the island.
Hostel Tribu is located just 3 blocks from the center of Holbox’s main fishing village. The surrounding Yalahau Lagoon is an ideal place to spot dolphins and rare birds.
