The stuff was very kindely and help with everything we needed. Even thay transport us to the collectivo station with our baggage. The room was big and comfy. The food was very good. Near the hotel there are nice cenotes.

Excellent service, Juan Pablo greeted as at the gate and ensured we were taken care of the entire time! He was so nice and friendly! The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. The breakfast was as added bonus. Perfect place to unwind and relax! While the road was bumpy, the road maintained by the Resort was better. The resort is remote, but that’s why we chose to stay there, and is also very close to many Cenotes.

The place is awesome for solitude and time with nature. Don’t book this place if you want “fake” nature - like Xcaret, like book that circus instead. This spot is actually wild, we had a giant scorpion in the dining area and the staff had the good sense to release it outside the property instead of killing it. They are mindful of being situated where they are, which is within wilderness and since we are infringing on wild, wild should be respected and protected. Don’t know if they recycle, and would appreciate this place being more connected to local conservation efforts. And a part of the stay payment going toward protecting the wilderness. Please do not litter along the way. Great place to read and get work done! The staff were like family! We loved them all! Pablo and Gemma (the owner) went above and beyond to get us sorted when we had our car towed!! We loved the team behind the place!! They are worth all five stars.

We had been traveling thru Quintana Roo and had just spent 4 days previously in Tulum. Based on the reviews here we decided to spend a nice quiet day/night at this property. Xcacel was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The property is beautiful and the staff are all on point and friendly. The food is fantastic and the bartender made the best tamarind margartita I ever had! Eddy from the hotel gave me a quick private tour of all the cenotes nearby the next day and we decided to spend time at Cenote Xuhann Ha which was amazing. Its a small property with great ammenities, great food, and great staff. Highly reccomend for an off the beaten path experience while in Mexico.

    The beach closer to our hotel is Xcacel-Xcacelito Beach, best virgin beach and santuary of tortles at the Riviera Maya. It is just at 1,500meters. :)
