Climb to astonishing heights amidst the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur. Look up at the Petronas Towers and, if you’re feeling fit, participate in one of the foot races to the top of the Kuala Lumpur Tower. When you descend the mixture of cultures that make up this vibrant city will greet you.
The capital of Malaysia offers a colourful array of cultures, cuisines and shopping opportunities. Kuala Lumpur’s diversity is on centre stage in China town’s Petaling Street, the food stalls on Jalan Alor, the history of Merdeka Square and the temples and mosques scattered throughout the city.
As the temperature soars in the year-round heat, find refuge in the manicured greenery of the Lake Gardens. Air-conditioning offers more comfort in the famous shopping malls including the Suria KLCC, where anyone can find the perfect gift or momento.

KL is a 24 hours' city that never stops, hence you can eat at any time and receive a good meal for as little as RM10 if you eat in the streets, which in my experience has been safe and fun. "Grab cars" are fantastic as a means of getting around (download the APP). Also, once you work out the rail system you will find it fantastic. Problem is, it is difficult getting a definitive answer when you ask for directions. Buy a Touch & Go card and experience it yourself, it is safe. KL is a well kept secret.

Kuala Lumpur is my home city.
Kuala Lumpur is my home city. It is vibrant, cosmopolitan, and most of all, things are cheaper here than other cities in the neighbouring countries.
Local tours are plenty and you can pick and choose with help from the hotel's concierge. Otherwise, a simple Google search will let you see the hundreds of local tour operators.
As in all major cities in the world, there is no "zero crime" rate here. So do be careful and vigilant at all times and safeguard your personal belongings properly.
The dedicated police station to assist all foreign travellers/tourist is the Campbell Police Station in Jalan Campbell. Any Grab or taxi will know the place.

Makes you feel the big city vibe with lots of places to visit, yet you can sense you are in the middle of forest, everyone is nice but weather was too warm even when i visited in March.

Everything were great except the departure experience at the airport. Immigration queue for economy class is not something you could imagine of. Next time, I will bite a bullet and get a business class for departure at least.

Kuala Lumpur has definitely evolved since I was there last in 2019. I never get to experience the MRT, for I know they have expanded their lines to several cities within the city center. Kuala Lumpur is never short on delicious local cuisine as well as western and fusion cuisine. Getting around the city is much easier through Grab – an app similar to Uber in the US. We enjoyed touring the Royal Selangor Pewter, KLCC, Pavilion and Central Market. Try to avoid Bukit Bintang area, as traffic is horrible on weekends.
The location of Hilton KL is just excellent. Its connected to KL Sentral (The main train hub) so going and coming from Airport is just a breeze. Take KLIA Express/Transit and you will be in your hotel within 40 minutes. Going around KL from hilton is also easy, you can take public transport (LRT/ Monorail) from KL sentral or just take Grab.
The service of Hilton is always great and pretty much the same no matter which country I go to.
The bed was massive for 2.. It can fit probably 4 people.
Location = The hotel is very near the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station. Lots of restaurants and malls nearby. Also near Jalan Alor. Petronas Twin Towers and the Menara Kuala Lumpur are about a 20-minute walk away.
Stayed here for 6 nights. The room is clean. No problem encountered with the AC and the smart TV. Soap and shampoo were provided. There is hot water for early morning showers, plus a clean and thick bath towel.
I only went to breakfast once (as I had to pay) but there was plenty of choice and the food was nice. My room had a great view of KL Tower and the Petronas Towers. The hotel is in a good location and I was able to walk to most of the attractions. It was also convenient for the LRT and KL Sentral, which made it easy to get to the airport.
Shangri La never go wrong, it is always exceptional! Sparkling clean and the best service among other 5 stars hotel in KL. We feel like home with the hospitality from the friendly staffs, feeling so secure because everyone greets us nicely. The scrumptious foods at the horizon club indulge us every day. The staffs are very attentive too!
The staff was warm and attentive. The hotel was not as near as other hotels in Bukit Bintang but it was its strength too. It was near enough for us to walk to Pavillion and Bethaya Times Square but it was far away from the crowd that it was very good quiet and peaceful. The hotel and its facilities were new since it was just renovated.
Went there for Sunway Lagoon weekend staycation. the lobby was huge. Fancy cars everywhere. Inside, i was at awe on the look of the hotel lobby, kind of majestic. staffs inside are courteous and very helpful.
the hotel overall experience is fantastic-
the expectations you should get in a 5 star hotel
staffs are excellent
Very closed to Sentral, next to monorail station. Simple rooms, enough for 1 night before departure to the airport. Wifi worked well. Breakfast are provided in the imbiss next to the hotel and it was a bit confusing. Basically it is indian food.
In the heart of Bukit Bintang a modern, funky design hotel for reasonable price. I really liked the round shower area with the colorful spotlight. Very comfy bed. Also liked the black metal furniture style.
Nice roof top with the pool there.
I like the place, it’s very close to MRT and Shopping malls. Also it’s located at Bukit Bintang where its surrounded by the city buildings. Also our Favorite JOLLIBEE 🥰 Next time if we will come back I will still book this hotel.
Good location in downtown near KLCC and two metro stations the room are easily 5 stars the service is 5 stars the breakfast is to rich 5 stars it is not a 4 star hotel
overall i satisfied..staff so friendly..the hotel very cheap but i feel at 5 star hotel..near with kl sentral..easy to find eat..will repeat to stay here 🫶🏻..
