Spotless accommodations and roomy. The rooms were furnished and supplied by someone who had pampering the guest in mind. A gem in an area of limited availability! Innkeeper was congenial and most helpful! Priced right!

Haus Sandrose is a lovely family run property. The rooms were large, comfortable and well equipped for cooking. The courtyard is a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the house cats. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Great location right in the middle of town. I would definitely recommend staying at Haus Sandrose.

Although very central, the accommodation is built around a lovely off-street courtyard with garden and outdoor sitting areas. The apartments are well-appointed and catered to all our needs. Fabienne was very friendly and helpful, and the resident cat was very sweet too!

    We unfortunately do not have off street parking available however the parking on the street right in front of the establishment is very secure with 24hour surveillance and we are located right next to a bank with top security as well .

I was born and bred in this stunning little town of ours and thus am what we locals refer to as " a real Buchter". Which means you'll be getting the inside scoop on the best places, beaches and "must sees" in town. I have recently taken over the family business of over 25 years and together with the help of our Bunny, Kitty and 2 tortoises we strive to make your stay with us an unforgettable and relaxing experience.

Embraced by the Namib Desert and sitting on the knee of the Atlantic Ocean is the quaint town of Lüderitz. Not only is the town picturesque and unique but so also our accommodation. Surrounding a courtyard in the heart of town, hidden away from the outside world, it's the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Some say the garden is enchanted, others say time ceases to be of consequence, no-one can believe one can sleep so soundly in the center of town. All we can say is - Welcome to Haus Sandrose !

Neighborhood info

There are 4 Restaurants/Bistro's as well as the Post Office, Pharmacy, Museum, Felsenkirche (Church on the Rock), Goerke Haus and Grocery Shop (SPAR) within walking distance from us. If you need to book a trip on one of the catamarans or obtain your permit to visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop, then just visit the information center down the road from us.
