Lodge Sasa Safari Camp
Ugab Valley, Kunene region, 9000 Outjo, Namibia – Great location - show map
A lovely tranquil place. Sasa Safari Camp provided the perfect base for a weekend away from our busy lives. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the food is 10/10 delicious. Another positive is the location of the camp allows you to experience a bunch of other places within an hour's drive.

Location at Outjo was great for visiting Etosha and Damaraland. Family and staff are very hospitable. It has absolutely beautiful views of mountains and valley. The name means peaceful, and it truly was. Very relaxing. Spent most of our time chilling in the dining/pool area appreciating the view.

Staff were extremely polite and friendly, always available when needed, even the owner was around and had a chat with us. Loved the dogs! Peaceful and quiet location.

The location - super close to Etosha. The staff were excellent Relaxing atmosphere

The staff were really friendly and full of good advice for things to see and do.

We loved the setting. The rocks and pool area were great to look onto. Danel made us a wonderful vegetarian meal, even though we only informed her of our dietary needs once we arrived. A very warm hostess with nothing but the best intentions for her guests. The dogs were a lot of fun to have around and even joined us for a walk. We had a piping hot shower, made compliments of the 'donkey'. Having spent the last couple of weeks traveling through Namibia, this seemed to be a rare treat. Thank you for having us!

It is in a beautiful setting on a farm, near Outjo. The owner, Donsie, braaied delicious meat for supper, with wonderful side dishes done by the staff. We loved the cottage and the surrounding area. Next time I will stay more than one night!

The property was spectacular. The owners, the staff, and their dogs very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious at each breakfast and ever diner! I could not more highly recommend Sasa!

friendly atmosphere, approx. 1 hour drive to Etosha

Nice and well priced dinner, good breakfast. Just a few K off main road.

we started the camp in 2007 April but only open 2009 September. how did we start ? i finished my studies in 2007 and ask my Dad if i can start my own rest camp. the land wher the rest camp are are on his property . From when i was small i like to do business, so i started with a camp site and 3 rooms but we did not have any money when we started i did tours for a while to make some money to built the camp and also to get the feeling off tourist what they want when they stay over. in 2009 September i was fully registered and open with 3 rooms only. the after each year i add a room. in 2011 we had 10 rooms . our main focus with Sasa Safari Camp are we want to keep everything personal here small not a big company. our focus of the Rest camp are that we want to cater for those that don't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation. Our rooms are very basic but just enough for you to stay in. We are situated high in the mountain with a lovely view. We have really bog plans for our rest camp here.
