A lot of noise coming from the street

It was a little run down and the walls of the rooms need a bit of a scrub and a paint, but otherwise it was perfectly fine.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great. The owner was very helpful too.

It's what I would expect for the price. No frills but functional. Totally fine for a night in San Carlos, very close to the bus station and the lake. Would recommend.

The bathroom is very small and when you sit on the toilet your knees hit the wall. Dont lean on the sink! The last day wifi code was changed and he dident give the new password.

The location is close to the malecon and river with beautiful birds. Close to bus station and port and shops.Close to ATM.

The room walls, floor and ceiling could do with a good scrub. If you are arriving in the evening and don't have internet on your phone, ask the hotel to send you their wifi password so you can WhatsApp them when you arrive. As a solo woman, I arrived in the early evening after a very long bus journey but there was no reception or someone waiting at the hotel for me. Locals were leading me to a dodgy looking bar and saying it was the reception. I asked other locals on the street to WhatsApp the hotel number for me, however some didn't want to help telling me to check in to a hotel they knew instead. Not a great situation to be in and I didn't feel safe. The local drunk outside the window making a lot of noise early in the morning.

Room #3 was spacious with a comfortable bed. Towels, soap and a bottle of drinking water was included in the cost of the room. The room has an area to hang clothes, a TV and a fan. On check-in, you can take a photo of the ferry schedule. Alas, it would be better if a copy was attached to a common wall in the stairwell to refer to incase you lose the photo like I did. Otherwise, ferry times at the dock ticket office.

Nice little room to spend a night in san carlos. Tidy and affordable.

Good for one night. Very centric. Close to the bus station and the port. Very simple accomodation but enough for rest before catching an early bus or boat.
