Sandstar (Villas Iguana A-13) is a 2BR/1BA condo located in the heart of the wave-rich Tola region, directly on the sand. This well appointed condo is located at the north end of Playa Colorado with a river and Los Perros point to the north and two quality waves a short walk to the south (Panga Drops and Colorado beach break). The master bedroom contains a king bed (that can be converted to 2 singles upon request). The guest bedroom contains 2 single beds. The condo is equipped with a safe for your valuables. Cleaning service is included in the rental and we also offer an optional meal plan service!
Hi there! We are Heather and Carl, the owner operators of NSR (a vacation rental and real estate company located inside the Hacienda Iguana Resort). The surf, culture and beauty of Nicaragua has kept us living here since 2006. While we carve out plenty of time to enjoy life along the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, you can often find us and our team working hard to ensure our guests have an outstanding vacation. This house is located within the Hacienda Iguana development, which is known for its world-class surf breaks. There are 4 surf breaks within walking distance- Playa Colorado, Panga Drops and Los Perros are in the neighborhood and Playa Amarillo is to the south of Playa Colorado (walkable at low tide). We also have a beautiful 9-hole golf course. The course is well designed, beautifully maintained and very affordable to guests. There are several great food options within the Hacienda Iguana development and many other good restaurants nerby. Other businesses in the Hacienda Iguana community include a Spa, 2 small convenience stores with a variety of grocery items and an ATM is located on the property. Other activities in the development include yoga, horseback riding and in-home massage is also available. We have a well merchandised store (NSR Surf Shop) located inside the Hacienda Iguana development, which offers souvenirs, surf accessories, clothing, beach towels, flip flops, sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuits, wet suit vests and tops, rash guards and more! We also rent scooters, dirt bikes, surfboards, boogie boards and SUPs out of this location as well.
