  • Hi - our flight arrives in Schiphol at 3.30pm but booking.com says last check-in time for your hotel is 5pm, can you please let me know what happens if we are a little later than that? We should be fine I think but just want to check before I pay.

Amsterdam The Crane by YAYS is a boutique three storey apartment situated in a renovated historical harbour crane. A unique accommodation perfect for those looking for an unforgettable and extraordinary experience. The quays along the IJ-River were filles with harbour cranes back in the 20th century. The KNSM-Island, where Amsterdam The Crane by YAYS is located was one of those spots. Thist was the last Figee crane located there, and therefore an icon for Amsterdam. YAYS renovated the crane and transformed it into a three storey apartment. A truly unique experience, perfect for those desiring an extraordinary stay in Amsterdam. Enjoy the fantastic view over the IJ River from the most beautiful bed in Amsterdam. The interior has been designed by Edward van Vliet, a renowned Dutch designer, keeping in mind the authentic details of the industrial history of this property.

The KNSM Island is a former industrial harbour area which has now been turned into a creative melting pot. Definitely one of the most charming neighbourhoods of the Eastern part of Amsterdam.
