Large, comfortable room with a balcony, excellent soundproofing, friendly and helpful host. Note that this is actually a small B&B with two rooms located on the 10th floor of an apartment complex in Amsterdam Noord rather than an actual hotel, so you'll need to call/text Ronald when you arrive so he can let you in. Note that the street door pears to be locked only if, like us, you stupidly assume it opens out. :-) The optional breakfast is outstanding.

And Ronald could not have been more lovely - kept us topped up with coffee and tea, and even offered bikes and had a whole folder of with plenty of restaurant and experience recommendations. He was a fantastic host to us! Would absolutely stay here again
