The beautiful was excellent with many options and was served in a spacious and welcoming dining room. The room was large, very clean, and faced the woods, which added to the ambiance of the hotel.

The breakfast had everything. The location was fine with bus into Amersfoort. On the edge of a national park. As a school for philosophers, or knowledge seekers, it provided intellectual stimulation in a gorgeous setting.

Beautifully situated in the woods, fantastic parking lots with tons of spaces, beautiful building. Front desk staff (particularly Marjolein) extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Jeroen, the bartender was also so friendly and professional. Rooms comfortable and spacious. AMAZING buffet breakfast, everything you could imagine both hot and cold.

Very peaceful location. Perfect for our dog. We could go for a walk in the forest and then walk to the city on foot. Amersfoort city also surprised for good. Very charming and a lot of choices for eating and having some fun.

We really loved the location, staying in a beautiful park with a great view from our room. Being able to explore the park with our dog was one of the highlights. This hotel had free coffee and tea at any time to enjoy in the lounge or take to your room with fun little pastries! The breakfast was incredible! The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

Lovely location with rooms overlooking a green park. Although the hotel is close to the highway, all the rooms are facing away from the road so the noise is greatly reduced. The hotel is located on the grounds of a Philosophy School, so there are lovely and clever links between the two: each room is named after a philosopher (rooms are also normally numbered to avoid confusion) and there is a book by by that philosopher in the room. Those attention to detail are just wonderful! The breakfast buffet was very good: lots of choices and excellent value for money.

It’s a unique looking place and it being a school for philosophy gives it an extra dimension. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and modern and if you have a room on the ground floor like me you can walk from the backside of your room straight into the forest. Breakfast is sumptuous. Rooms are quiet which is good since the hotel is located almost directly next to the highway. Plenty of free parking including charging for EV’s.
