NetherlandsA real pearl indeed. We arrived on pedal bikes after a day's ride into the wind. We had a room in the garden making it easy to unload the bikes and secure them in their garage overnight. We ate a great meal in their restaurant and the place is just a few minutes walk to nearby pubs and terraces on the Maas waterfront. Arcen is a lovely town .. it is my second visit there by bike and right on the Maas EuroVelo route. We left in pouring rain the next morning and were thankful for the hearty and ample breakfast ... our room was super comfy and clean and we had a good sleep in a quiet setting.
