I loved each single detail of the place super nice and they did a great job in providing breakfast and dinner even with all the covid restrictions. I wwouldhave loved to have separate containers to bring paper and plastic. Only glass was there.

Small town with a few restaurants/cafes and a supermarket. Perfect place to stay as quiet but only a short cycle ride to the beach and other surrounding bigger towns such as Renesse, where there is more going on but is also a lot more crowded with tourists. We are a young family so for us Scharendijke was the perfect spot. Lots of lovely camping grounds. Very family friendly

The resort is also nice with varied options such as hotel facilities and a nice camping site. Many rooms have a nice view overlooking the pond located in the middle of the resort. The rooms also have a nice terrace. The food is also quite good, especially dinner (quite a treat)!!! The way the hotel staff adheres to COVID-19 rules is something that deserves a big compliment as well.

If yuo book at this place, you don't expect a continental breakfast Dubai style. But the food was very tasty, varried, we both went back for seconds. Upon arrival, it was a pleasant surprise we could check-in early, as the room had been cleaned already. The staff in general was very welcoming and helpful, especially the reception staff. The room was cleaned properly, had AC, and the shower was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but there was abundant choice.EricNetherlands
