  • Hi, is the property reachable by public transports?

    The nearest tram station is Oude Middenweg. From here, it takes 25 minutes by foot to get to the campsite, or less than 10 minutes by bike. We also receive many guests with an OV-bike, rented at the bigger train stations such as The Hague.

The sunny wheather, the retro Vespa colours and the delious flavours of icecream in the authentic Italian ice cream parlour - all this formed the inspiration for Het Caravannetje. But who are the three nice ladies behind this undertaking? A mother and two daughters, all with a passion for creating and entrepreneurship. What once started with a birthday present that got out of control has resulted in an adventure on wheels in the most cheerful retro icecream colours. Welcome in this little piece of our busy, never dull and creative life. We are Karen, Sophie and Charlotte, a mother of two daughters - all with a love for La Dolce Vita. The Italian way of living, lots of friends and family, good food and an even better glass of wine and always the Dutch "gezelligheid". During one of those evenings the idea to pimp not one but seven caravans was born. This way, everyone can, just as we do, enjoy those "Italian" evenings, outside under the setting Dutch sun. In the meantime we have transformed seven caravans, which can all be booked for your unique retro experience on wheels. If you have any special wishes such as a wedding, babyshower or birthday party, we can arrange it for you!

When staying in our unique restyled retro caravans you will find yourself back in the 80's, 70's and even 60's, but then with all modern facilities for a comfortable stay. What can you expect? - Go back in time with your loved ones - Our caravans can be found at our retro glamping at Buitenplaats Molenwei in Leidschendam - Including one breakfast for your first morning in our accommodation - Bicyles at your disposal for rent to enjoy and explore the surroundings An experience on wheels, that is what describes an adventure in one of our caravans. Step inside the world of Italian retro colours and get a taste of a vintage ice cream parlour. Every caravan has a unique appearance and is named after one of the ladies in our family, each with her own special character. A true eyecatcher! Camping, sweet retro and back to the 60's, 70's & 80's, but with all modern comforts. Al our caravans are equipped with a comfortable double bed with slatted base, soft bedlinnen and a cosy sitting area. We put the glam in glamping!
