Perfect location in the Binnenstad 3 minutes walk to the Grote Mark, Vismarkt, "high street" shopping and many restaurants. Very good breakfast in glassed courtyard that doubles as lounge/relax area during the day. We were upgraded to larger room overlooking the courtyard with views of several church steeples. We appreciated the two built in racks for our suitcases and the nightlight built into the bathroom mirror! I would stay here again.

Family room was spacious and clean. Breakfast looked appetizing and was well presented, weather was perfect to eat outside in the enclosed courtyard. Location only 5 minute walk to city center, discount for the parking garage was great and only a 5 minute walk to hotel. Would definitely stay there again when in Groningen. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When we went for breakfast the tables were full and we were uncomfortable sitting on the tall chairs in the lounge, so the staff made a table available for us in the part of the restaurant. This was much appreciated! The breakfast itself had warm and cold choices; the spread itself was limited but there was something for every taste. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable.

Hotel Halbert is located in one the most beautiful streets in Groningen, in the middle of the historical center.

The hotel rooms feature extra long beds and WiFi is available throughout the property.

Breakfast is served in the garden room, or in the city garden in the summer. There is a breakfast buffet includes fresh breads, spreads and fresh juices. Gluten free products are served as well.
