All of the basics were covered: outlet by the bed, a lamp by the bed, and it was clean. The beds are comfortable and warm. The rooms are nice (nice ambiance, good furniture, good windows) and is true of the common areas/bar as well. It is in a neighborhood where locals live and it is not very touristy so you get a better idea of “true Amsterdam” than in city center where there are many tourists walking around. There are cafés in the area that serve good breakfast if you do not want to eat in the hostel, and bars nearby if you want to go out but stay close. The staff is very friendly and happy to talk to you/give you tips of what to do/where to eat/etc while in Amsterdam.

Please note when booking a Double/Twin Room, it is possible that you will be staying in a 4 to 6 bed dorm. The remaining (bunk) beds will not be available for other guests.

Please note that the beds are not made, but bed linen will be provided and guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival. Towels are available at a surcharge of EUR 4.50.

Guests are requested to inform the property when children are coming along.

When travelling with children younger than 13 years old, it is required to book a private room.

- If cancelled between 1 and 2 weeks prior to arrival, a 85% fee will be charged
- If cancelled 1 week or less prior to arrival, the full amount of the reservation will be charged
