Homestay Utrecht is a small, local Bed&Breakfast. I opened my big Dutch home for guests from all over the world. I offer 2 big, comfortable, sunny rooms. The Green Room is a big room for 1 person with gardenview. The Sunshine Room is for 1 or 2 persons and has a roofterrace. We all share a nice, clean bathroom. Homestay Utrecht is a little bit out of city centre (although only 15 minutes by bus, car or bike), but is one of the last few areas in Utrecht with free parking. Parking in city centre is 4,70 euro an hour. In our street is always place for your car. During the day I have my work. Therefor we normally welcome guests after 17.00 hours (5.00 p.m.) and wave them goodbey at 9.30 hour (9.30 a.m). Exeptions may be possible, please feel free to ask for it.
I started Homestay Utrecht in 2015 and inmediatly liked it. People from all over the world visit our house. I learn so much from them, they enrich my life with their stories. In my profession I work with people with dimentia and I contribute to an aging friendly city. So when you stay here a few days and we have time for a chat, you can expect some questions about aging in your hometown. Of course you can also bring up subjects :-)
Lunetten is a nice, safe, green neighborhood. 15 minutes by bike or car or bus to Utrecht city centre. You reach university campus by car, bus or bike in 15 minutes. You reach Amsterdam city centre in 25 minutes by car and in 45 minutes by bus/train. When you come by public transport. Take bus 8 to Lunetten. After 10 minutes, get out at busstop Dolomieten (ask driver). Walk along in the direction the bus goes. Take 2nd street on your right (Lofoten). Take 1st street on your right (Balearen). We live in the last block on your left hand at Balearen 22. Free Parking in our street.
