Very interesting place with original Recording Studio (worth to visit), rooms are cozy and living room are very relax and comfort. Breakfast is specific kind of self service, very rich, pure 10. Mr. Patrick is very kind and friendly host and it is always at the guests' services.

NetherlandsPatrick was a superb host, friendly and welcoming. He advised us as to places to visit and restaurants in the area and gave us an interesting tour of his recording studio. The breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared and generous. It was helpful to be able to serve ourselves at a time that was convenient to us. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk along the seafront each evening and the selection of restaurants was impressive. It was easy to get to Amsterdam by bus and as we had a car, we were able to visit a number of towns and villages.
United KingdomA unique experience staying above a recording studio, with a kitchen/living room community like area. Walking distance along the sea to the centre / marina. If you rent a bike (totally recommended for getting around) you can explore nearby villages very easily. Rich breakfast included. We even got a peek at the studio (thanks Patrick!). Also the Veronica radio was very much in tune with us :) Sea is just around the corner.

IrelandFor the included breakfast, there was an incredible variety of fresh meats, cheeses, eggs, dutch breakfast specialties, condiments, breads, yogurts, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, teas provided. Every morning was a delightful discovery of what was awaiting us. Our private accommodations were super, providing private parking, terrace and garden, Comfortable rooms depicting the themes of the Music Studio, and provided super comfortable beds, tv, clean ensuite bathroom with excellent shower pressure, etc. The Common Room was perfect for breakfast, relaxing after touring, meeting other guests, and most importantly the accompany of our Superhosts: Patrick Muhren, dad Arnold, and assistant Donna. This is a guest house, with a working, award winning Recording Studio in Volendam which was very unique and of interest to us as one of is a USA performing musician. The location is a half hour dike walk to the Centrum of Volendam. Exceptional Stay in every way.

- Hi do you have rooms with double bed? We are coming by Eurostar and need to get to central Amsterdam. Is there bus/train/tram and is it expensive?Hi Room Nr5 has a bed preference, so you can request for a double bed. I believe the Eurostar stops at Amsterdam Central Station. From there you take bus Nr 316 to Volendam. I believe a day ticket is about € 10,-Answered on 18 January 2023
