Numa Amsterdam The Crane is bucket list material for couples and solo travellers in search of urban adventures, or anyone looking for design experiences and inspiring views. Originally constructed in 1957 as a harbour crane, this colourful piece of engineering has seen the KNSM Island evolve from an industrial area to a creative hub. The crane itself was completely dismantled, and put back together as a luxury apartment, which boasts a luxurious bathtub, superb views, and interior design from the renowned Dutch designer Edward van Vliet. A stay in The Crane apartment will be a unique experience for anyone who has a passion for history, design, architecture, fun, and indulgence. We're fully digital, so there's no reception or staff onsite. Instead, guests use our digital check-in and PIN codes to access the property and their rooms! Additionally, our guest experience team is available 24/7 for any questions or concerns via WA, and email.
