Tjeerd and Wiepkje live in the back-side of the farmhouse with dog Yfke. The parents live in the front. Together we rebuild the old farmhouse into a comfortable guesthouse. From 2014 it is with great pleasure that we welcome you here at Ûnder de Wol.

Property info

Farmhouse apartments Ûnder de Wol (Frisian for 'underneath the wool') are located in a converted historic farm. In this quiet place you can enjoy comfortable and clean accommodation. You look out over the Frisian countryside with sheep, birds and cows. The southwest of Fryslân has lots of lakes, ideal for sailing and other watersports.

Neighborhood info

Our farmhouse is located in Southwest Friesland, the land of many lakes, fresh air, the Afsluitdijk, Woudagemaal and Wadden Islands. And the only province in Holland with its own official language. Lonely Planet had good reasons for putting the province of Friesland number 3 on its list of hidden gems in Europe!
