located right in the red light district. staff were friendly and very accommodating. we got there early and we were able to leave our bags at the front desk and explore the city. building is old (obviously….its in downtown Amsterdam) with steep staircase. I’m not sure if there is a lift. the room was comfortable and clean. they have been remodeled recently. we stayed in November and didn’t think to turn the heat up when we got to the room so it was cold for a few hours until the radiators could catch up. would certainly stay again. thanks for the wonderful place to stay on short notice!

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Amsterdam’s city center and life. You can walk to all the sightseeing places. The person in the reception was very kind and helpful. Our room and bathroom were good renovated and very clean. If you go by car you can park it at the central train station and walk to the hotel.
