Immaculate. The room was neatly organized, and the controls for room lights and bathroom water were intuitive. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. There’s a built in clothes line too. TV easy with music options. The window opens just enough to get a breath of fresh air, even though the room temperature was perfect.
The staff was cheerful, efficient, quiet, cooperative, helpful, and pleasant.
The lobby is a good place to sit with coffee/tea ready to make any time.
The breakfast buffet—oh my! There is such a variety of, plenty of it, and all delicious. All the guests served ourselves quietly and the place was spotless. Hot food was hot, cold food cold.

If you want to see wild Nordic landscapes, or experience the buzz of a city, you won't find either in Tønsberg. It's a really pretty city on the Norwegian coastline between Sandefjord-Torp Airport and Oslo. Stayed got a few days on the way back to the airport and it was all lovely (would recommend the taj mahal curry restaurant as well for food).

There were lots of great restaurants by the water. Most people speak English to there is no language barrier here. Unless you have a car to go outside of town I would not stay more than a few days. If you don't mind taking the train everywhere then Tonsberg can be a nice base city from which to travel to other cities in the area.

Tonsberg is a very nice city.
Tonsberg is a very nice city. Everything is within walking distance. On the waterfront there are a lot of restaurants from where to choose. We stayed for 2 days which I think was good enough to see around.MaritaMalta - 8.0Scored 8.0
Lovely scenery locally.
Lovely scenery locally. Parking was very difficult and confusing. Ended up getting a ticket when I believe I was parking in an allowable space. Even when asking locals it was difficult to understand where and when it was possible to park.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel car park has few stalls and when we arrived it was full so we used a public car park next to the hotel for 350kr a day. In front of the hotel is a seaside boulevard with many restaurants and bars with a super good and lively atmosphere.

The room had a good size with simple furnishing but everything you need for a short stay, I was positively surprised by the breakfast buffet. This offered a great choice from healthy options, fruits and salads to a selection of different breads, cold cuts and variations of egg, potatoes, bacon, sausages and meat balls. All presented in a spacious setup. Public paid parking is right at the hotel with direct access to the hotel.
