HI Bergen Hostel Montana is located up the hillside of Mount Ulriken, about 2.2 mi from Bergen City Center and easily accessed by public transportation. A grocery store and different hiking trails are located next to the hostel. Free parking is available for our guests. This Quality and Sustainability certified property welcomes backpackers, groups and families to the international community of travelers all year round. It offers guests a wide range of accommodations in the modern and recently renovated rooms. From private single, double, triple and quadruple rooms to shared dorms. A complete all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is included. Bed linen and towels can be rented for a fee. Alternatively, you can bring your own linen for free. Wi-Fi, laundry room and a well equipped guest kitchen will ensure a comfortable stay at HI Bergen Hostel Montana. Guests can relax in the TV lounge, or play football in the common room. International volunteers organize free activities for guests such as hikes, games, BBQ’s, sightseeing, music and a daily free Coffee and Cookies activity. - Please note that bed linen and towels are not provided. Guests may bring their own linen and towels or rent them at arrival for an extra charge. Sleeping bags are not permitted.
- Check-in from 15:00. Check-out at 10:00.
- Reception opening hours: From 01 October until 01 June - From 7:00 until 23:00. From 01 June until 30 September - 24 hours
- If you expect to arrive after reception opening hours, please inform the reception in advance so we can prepare a self check-in for you. Be aware that guests arriving after reception opening hours will be charged in advance.
- Breakfast is FREE during the specified time defined by the hostel. There are no possibilities to have free breakfast before or after breakfast hours.
- When booking more than one bed in a dormitory, we cannot guaranteed that the beds are going to be in the same room.
- Children under 16 are not permitted to stay in the dormitory rooms.
- Hosteling International members won't get the membership discount when booking via Booking.com.
- HI Bergen Hostel Montana is a place for international and domestic travelers: non-travelers can be refused without any further discussion.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
