We had beautiful views from the glass roof upon our arrival and got to see it on a clear sunny day. Then we got snowed over on the roof, but it was still an amazing experience.

The property was every bit as beautiful as the pictures, the glass room was incredible and felt so cosey. The kitchen was really well equipped and the bed was very comfy. everything was clean and felt very homely. The host was really helpful and got back to us quickly. We would go back and stay there in a heartbeat.

The living room is amazing!!! It provides a stunning view over the city and we were even lucky enough to see the northern lights! The apartment is super cozy and has everything you need. Also, the instructions were clear and we did not have any trouble finding the house.

  • Hi, how do we go to the City Centre or the airport from your apartment? Any public transport that is easily available?
    The apartment is about a 15 minutes walk from the city center itself and thus can be done either via foot or taxi. There is also a public bus stop up the road on mellomvegen going to city center line 40. To the airport its a 10 min taxi ride also

    Northern lights season ranges from end of august until a few days into april. Anytime during this period offers good chances for northern lights, but its never a guarantee. Staying a few days increases chances significantly in tromso

  • On what distance on foot is the bus stop from the apartment going in center of the city or airport?
    The apartment is 15-20 minutes walk by foot to the centre of town. The apartment is also a 5 minutes walk away from the 2 bus stops that go direct to the city centre, and the airport.

This is truly one of the most unique accomodations in Tromsø city with the fully glass ceiling living room overlooking the mountains. Enjoy the beautiful view in the daytime, and potentially glimpse the northernmost lights in the night from the living room, or from the balcony. The unit is 45kvm in total. This apartment comes with free parking Please note that this is an apartment on the top floor of a house. The apartment is private, no other guests and you will have your own private entry
