The property is located in quiet Lædre, right by the sea, surrounded by a large, beautiful garden and several bathing opportunities - both from its own jetty by the sea and in its own lake. Fishing enthusiasts can fish both in the sea and in a private salmon river (1st June - 20th September). The neighborhood offers beautiful walking opportunities, both along the coast to the south and north, and in the heath. Find your own cove or your own mountain peak.
The charming host Irene welcomes you to her beautiful property which has been visited by tourists for generations. The apartments are located in her childhood home, which has now been refurbished and redecorated for new guests. There are two apartments with separate entrances and separate outdoor areas. Irene and her family also live on the property.
The property is located 10 minutes outside the tiny wooden town of Egersund. There you will find, among other things, pleasant niche shops, good eateries, mini golf, a square with water fountains, a pleasant pedestrian street, and many hiking opportunities. The regional capital Stavanger lies one hour drive to the north. The region offers amongst others these sites: the Pulpit rock, Jøssingfjord Science Museum, Sogndalstrand cittaslow village, Eigerøy Lighthouse, and the beautiful beaches along Jæren for hiking and surfing. The closest airport lies in Sola nearby Stavanger (1 hour). The closest ferry terminal with routes to Denmark and the Netherlands lies in Kristiansand (2,5 hour).
