The location was perfect for me. Its a good area to basecamp for Norway adventures. Great value which is hard to find in Norway.

This was an amazing place to stay!! I can’t recommend it enough. The owner is amazing, he not only upgraded my room but also drove me to the starting point of my hike as I didn’t have a car. I was late coming down and he was concerned so he also drove up to pick me up! His father made dinner for me because all the food places had closed and he wouldn’t let me have a granola bar for dinner. I was leaving on a week-long hiking trip from here and he also let me store my extra stuff until I came back. Really went above and beyond to not just give excellent service to a guest, but to look out for me as a person. The property itself is older and very cozy, with a great view over the water. You can see the ferries going across all day and have a delightful spot to eat out in the garden. It’s right in the middle of town, close to the bus stops, grocery store, and ferry dock. The location is lake front, near many hiking opportunities and its only 45min to Priekestolen and 5min to skomakernibbå! Which is another hidden gem without tourist but at a much higher elevation and similar picture opportunity spot. The owner of this property are very hospitable. The place is clean and you have many room options to choose! From a full cabin to a single room. Its great for single or families. The scenic route on the way to the property is gorgeous! Highly Recommended!
