“A magical place, with very cosy rooms, though somewhat cramped, due to the age and layout of the building. The sauna in the bathroom is a nice touch, the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed, apart from a kettle for making tea. The view is lovely and the balcony would be great in warmer weather. The restaurant is excellent, with uniquely interesting and well-presented food.”

“Loved everything about the property - the location, the view, the room.... beautiful, well appointed room with an en-suite shower room and sauna! We had dinner and the food was exceptional. We had a tasting menu where each course was a surprise and each came with a story from Kim, a great wine pairing and every one was delicious. Breakfast was so good too - local blueberry or raspberry juice and a mixed platter of meats, bacon, omelette, homemade muesli & Greek yogurt, avocado, fruit, rolls, the best coffee.... it was generous but the perfect amount. Kim and his staff are so lovely too - chatty and interested in what we were doing and ideas about drives and walks to see the best of the area. I wish I could ski because you can ski to the door and have a snack or drink and take in the ambience - I bet it’s fantastic in the winter... we might just come back anyway and pretend to have been skiing!”
