This was probably my very favorite stay during a two week road trip in western Norway. Hørundfjord and the views from Sagafjord Hotel are insanely beautiful, and, combined with the peace and quiet Sæbo offers, beat Geiranger by a mile. The food at dinner and breakfast was superb, and our room was beautiful. We loved the decor, which was a beautiful blend of rustic and modern. Sæbo is a charming little town, and I'll second the review that mentions the friendly shop keeper and delicious ice cream at the Joker. There's also a beautiful little gift shop in town with locally made crafts. Just overall a fantastic experience. It would be lovely to come back, and I immediately recommended Sæbo to some fellow travelers, who promptly took a day trip there. Thank you so much!
