Excelent location to stay at weather you are visiting Bergen or staying for an up comming flight / layover. The main lounge and entrence got a more relaxed vibe than Scandic Flesland & the rooms are a bit nicer in my opnion. Scandic is setting the bar high with their industry leading breakfast, which even offers great vegan options for people like me. I highly recommend staying here vs Flesland if you are catching a flight the next morning, as the tram to BGO is quite close. The only reason I would chose Scandic Flesland again is if my flight were to leave super early.

The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The parking lot had enough parking spaces. We really liked the lobby area, where there were billiards, table football and more. A lot of people from the hotel spent time there and it was very cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of food to choose from, and despite the fact that we arrived at 9, there were still enough places to sit.

- Proximity to the airport. It was a couple of stops away using the Bergen Light Rail. (download Skyss App) - Hotel was 3 mins walk away to the bus stop & 5 mins walk away from the Light Rail station. - Excellent connectivity, and frequency of public transport - Breakfast was excellent, an amazing variety of food - the freshly-baked break and pastries were the best! - Hotel was clean, and aesthetically pleasing. - Staff spoke good English (as did the rest of Bergen!) so communication wasn't a problem.

Hotel is very nice. only problem that in the time on our stay the restaurant was not working. Food at buffet was good but there was something wrong with the trays (I assume) and food thats supposed to be warm was in the best case lukewarm or cold. (for example, omlette in breakfast and meat at dinner)
