Our reception is located at Josefines gate 30 - The SWEET. We have a 24/7 mobile reception, where you can reach us. During office hours we are here for you via email, phone and chats here. After office hours you can reach us via mobile phone and our Securitas service can help you out in emergencies. We are an experienced and responsible host, with a friendly and helpful staff. We focus on efficient check ins, quiet stays and cleanliness of our apartments. Our house rules are simple: No parties, quiet time from 10 PM - 08 AM, easy check in after 3 PM, easy check out at 11 AM and cleaning of the apartment is included in the nightly rate. We appreciate it if you dispose of your trash and put on the dishwasher before you depart. Whether you are travelling alone, with friends, or family we are always happy to make your accommodation a great experience. Our apartments are at your disposal, and we hope you'll enjoy your time visiting us here in Oslo.

The SWEET is a historic building from 1916 that has been completely renovated and now has the charm of an historical building with modern apartments in historic surroundings. This lovely historically preserved womens hospital features many unique, eclectic and individually furnished apartments. We have many different room types that are suitable for short and longer stays. Anything from studio standard, studio superior, studio business to 1-bedroom superior and business apartments to 2-bedroom superior and business apartments. All our apartments have a kitchenette or kitchens depending on size of the apartment, space to eat and an amazing Engelsson bed to sleep in. Some apartments have a large living room with sofa and also possibility for sofa beds. Furthermore some also have a balcony, a special story or can be combined to a larger apartment suitable for families. Whether you are travelling for business, pleasure, by yourself or with friends and family – The SWEET offers a unique experience for you and your loved ones. Some examples of that include – Our large 1 bedroom business apartment named after the chief physician “Dr. Lindboe” which is decorated in the style of an office with a large leather lounge and an office desk for work away stays and meetings for example. If you are looking for a more romantic experience we have our “Elvis Suite” for you on the top floor with a large living room with lots of natural light and an open bedroom. Or our individual studio business apartments with romantic and eclectic decorated décor to spend quality time together. On the 1st floor you find our lobby, which is modeled after the hospital lobby it once was. Here you can have a free coffee from our coffee machine. Our reception and office is conveniently located on the ground floor, accessible from the back entrance and by the elevator / lift that is accessible from each floor. Our back entrance also provides an universal access entrance to the building.

Neighborhood info

The SWEET is centrally located in Oslo with Bogstadveien, Bislett, the city center and Frogner in each direction of the apartment complex. The area features many different historical buildings as well as many shops and restaurants. You can eat great Italian, French or American close by. If you would like to experience great sea food and the ocean view it is only a short buss ride down to Tjuvholmen and Aker Brygge. The bus number 21 goes every 5-10 minutes from Homansbyen stop only 3 minutes walking distance. Here you can also take the tram number 19 to the city center. In the other direction you will find Majorstuen subway station and Vigelandspark, a popular attraction only 15 mintues walking distance. If you prefer to walk and experience the city by travelling on foot, it is a short distance to the Royal Palace and its adjacent park, Karl Johan and the National Theater train station. Public transport is therefore just around the corner with bus, trams and trains. The SWEET also has a parking lot, where you can easily park your car against a fee at the parking meter or in the Easy Park app. The neighborhood is full of historical buildings, great walking distance to public transport and located near the city center of Oslo. Whether you are travelling alone or with friends and family – The SWEET offers a unique experience with its eclectic furnished décor and location so close to main attractions of Oslo.
