CAARP Team is glad to welcome guests, share experiences, organize group tours to local communities, national parks, and around, and many other activities as per the need of the guests.

Property info

This resort is located near Chitwan National Park in Chitwan, about 150 km south of Kathmandu and 20 km from Bharatpur city. It is within a fish farm, where tilapia, Sahar and local carps are bred and supplied to farmers. It has been established by aquaculture professionals to develop as a model farm and provide training to the local farmers. It is surrounded by Tharu community which is a unique ethnic group in Nepal. They have unique culture, customs, costumes, foods and traditions. Staying here, guests can have opportunities to learn and experience them. The property has free wifi, free breakfast, air conditioning rooms, hot water, private bathroom with hot water shower. It is in a isolated place, good for those who like quiet place.

Neighborhood info

The properties is surrounded by Tharu community who are a unique ethnic minority in Nepal. CAARP team has been working with them for Women in Aquaculture (WiA) project which taught them how to farm fish for their family nutrition when they were facing challenges due to shortages of fish in the natural water bodies. They were the first women's group registered as self-help women's cooperative. Guests can interact with them and see how their families live, learn their culture, enjoy local food, and walk around to observe. Chitwan National Park and Saurah tourist town is about 10 km away.
