Could not recommend Flock Hostel more!! Has an incredible restaurant right next door which is great value and amazing for all meals. The hostel itself is super clean with great facilities, common space, and a beautiful rooftop area. Such amazing value for money. The staff are all so kind and helpful and made the experience so stress free. It is a short walk away from the center of Thamel, please stay here your next time in Kathmandu you will not regret it!!!!

This was a overall great trip. Flock is a great looking Hostel. My room was mostly great, large and comfortable. The bar and restaurant was great I had some fantastic meals and the prices are reasonable. The WiFi is great throughout the hostel theres like 5 or 6 different hubs depending on where you are in the hostel so thats super convenient so you never have to worry about bad signals.

Everything about my holiday in Nepal surrounded my life in Flock Hostel, and I loved every second of the time I spent there. The people working there, the hospitality provided, the environment, the food, EVERYTHING was top notch - for anyone who sees the word "Hostel" and thinks twice about staying, you should think of it more as a resort. Also, I must add, this was the nicest looking place out of all the other hotels and hostels I saw! Special thanks to Mr Deep, Gagan, The Incredible Ladies At Reception and The Bartenders/Servers! LOVE TO EVERYONE AT FLOCK - I'm coming back soon ;)

There is very little not to like about this property. Right from the location to the staff to the hospitality and the food, everything has been thought after and presented in the most aesthetic way possible. You have live music playing in the cafe, the craziest mocktails in the bar, a dog named Ginger who will just steal your heart away. Very few properties make so much effort to make you feel at home, and luckily Flock is one of them. Go and experience the place and i am sure you won't be disappointed.

The hostel is very very clean The staff, especially Sree is amazing. The decor is nice and trendy and pretty and very instagrammable There is an in-house cafe which is nice with good vibes There is an in-house dog which is adorable It's just 5 mins or less walk to busy thamel area. Also very near to good restaurants and convenience stores. The room heater is fantastic and life saver I must mention, the beds are super comfy We stayed two separate nights and I might be back

Lubo Iceland

Loved everything from check in, to our room, to the view from the balcony (we had a private room, highly recommend if you want that epic view in the morning), to awesome food (their momos and burgers are to die for). Staff is friendly and the Owner Ayush is very hands on. It is newly opened and is only a matter of time till the hostel fills up. It shares its kitchen with the neighboring Zostel Hostel which is also a cool place. We loved the graffiti on the wall on each floor and around flock. They have a terrace with a gorgeous view of the mountains. As the hostel is new the terrace is not well equipped to chill but if you don’t mind sitting down and basking in the view while enjoying the sunset then is EPIC. Common area is modern and funky, thoughtfully made. Credit to the owner Ayush who looks after every guest and is very hands on.
