Just under a 10 minute walk to lakeside and close to so many great food options! From the roof you have great views of Fishtail when the skies are clear and also a view of Fewa lake. The property is clean and welcoming! Another extra-they have toys for little ones which keep them distracted so mom and dad can enjoy their meals!

hotel Karuna was very nice, clean, well located and proposes eco-friendly options for the soap, etc. The breakfast was very nice with fresh coffee and healthy options! The staff was super welcoming, always kind and gentle. We had to stay on the hotel one full day because it was raining and they gently provided different activities and options to optimize our time in Pokhara. The hotel met our expectations, I recommend it!

Not only is Hotel Karuna exceptionally clean and modern (I also love their sustainability focus), but their owner and staff are just lovely. They are sweet, helpful and made me feel so welcome, making this a gem of a property. My best stay in Nepal!

The location ofcourse is great. Although, some drivers do get confused in finding the hotel. The management might consider including 17th Street in their address line, to make it easier to find. The hotel has a spacious courtyard and a very beautifully done up Lobby. The rooms are comfortable, airy and endowed with natural light. Most amenities are available in the room. The owners are quite committed to sustainable development and eco friendly policies. Instead of plastic water bottles in each room, they have made available complimentary water dispensers in each floor, for the guests to fill their water jug and use. Against a set of standard toiletries, they encourage guests to use their natural soap, which is appreciated. Breakfast was extremely healthy and great. The staff is very responsive and takes care of each and every matter of concern, conveyed to them by the guests. Overall, a very nice property at a decent cost.

Staff so friendly - and the property is close to the tourist center… but about w minute walk to the Main Street… so a quiet street. No elevator but if you can stay on the 3rd or 4th floor for a nice view.

I arrived at about 10.00 am and was given an early check in. It enabled to to have a shower and prepare properly for some people that I would soon be meeting for the first time. The room was comfortable and everything worked properly. The staff were excellent and could not be faulted. They made it possible to sort out my washing and correctly managed some things that needed cold water and air drying. They helped me make an airline booking to Kathmandu and arranged taxis for when they were needed. Breakfasts were good and in a social setting which I enjoyed.

We had a great time in Hotel Karuna. Being low season, the staff graciously upgraded our room, and treated us so warmly the entire time. They helped us sort out bus tickets and also local tour things like kayaking. The room is very comfortable and spacious and the beds too. Breakfast was a standout - lots of good options as well as freshly brewed pour over coffee. I loved that the hotel is conscious of plastic waste as well and provides clean filtered water on every floor free of charge.
